Our annual deacon/widow banquet will be Saturday,July 21, at noon. Widows and widowers will soon receive an invitation in the mail for this event. Your deacon will contact you to see if you will be able to attend. The deadline to make your reservation is July 11. We serve a fabulous meal at this banquet and it is a dress up event. Everyone is asked to wear your Sunday dress for the occasion. A corsage will be given to each lady at the door. Also, our deacons will chauffer any widow or widower, who needs a ride, to the banquet. Our speaker will be Ms. Eleanor Moscovitz, who lost her husband after 19 years of marriage. Eleanor will encourage all who attend this event.
