Salute to Summer – Tonight
Tonight, the LaBelle Students will gather at Deborah Rhea’s house, 1765 Hwy 305 N., Olive Branch, MS from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. to say so long to summer with a pool party. Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs will be served. This is for youth going into grades 6th-12th. Students need to bring a towel and change of clothes.
Kids Back To School Cookout & Water Slides
This Wednesday, our LaBelle Kids and LaBelle Students will have a back to school cookout and water slides out by the playground. We will have hot dogs, chips and ice cream beginning at 6 p.m.
Young Ladies Night of Worship – August 2
On August 2nd, at 6:00 p.m., the young ladies of LaBelle Students will go to DeSoto Hills for a night of worship and fellowship. This is for all 6th-12th grade ladies, and the event is free of charge. Please sign up at the Ticket Center.
LaBelle Student Breakfast – August 4
Next Sunday, during Sunday School, the LaBelle Students will enjoy breakfast together in the MPR. This will be a special time where we officially welcome all new 6th graders to the student ministry. Parents of students are asked to bring breakfast items.
Collingsworth Family Concert – August 8
The Collingsworth Family will be in concert at LaBelle Haven on Thursday, August 8, at 7:00 p.m. You can purchase your tickets at www.thecollingsworthfamily.com. For those not comfortable ordering their tickets online, there is a sign-up sheet at the Ticket Center for the church to order your ticket for you. The cost of the tickets must be paid before your tickets can be ordered. General admission tickets are $25.
Multigeneration Worship Service – August 11
On Sunday, August 11, the LaBelle Kids and Students will join our Worship Choir and Orchestra to lead us in worship. We encourage all our kids and students to participate in this service. A quick rehearsal will start at 9:00 a.m.
Teacher Appreciation – August 11
Please make sure all local educators know that on August 11, LaBelle Haven will honor them by praying over them as they begin the new school year. We also will share a gift with the teachers in the service that day.
Deacon/Widow Banquet – August 17 – 12 p.m.
Our annual Deacon/Widow Banquet will be Saturday, August 17, at noon. This year Dr. Shawn Parker, the executive director of the Mississippi Baptist Convention, will be our guest speaker at our banquet. Remember, this is a dress up event so wear your normal Sunday attire. The invitations have been mailed and your deacon should be in contact with you soon to inquire if you are attending.

The menu will consist of: BBQ Pork Chops, Baked Potato, Lima Beans, Rolls, Salad, & Peach Cobbler for dessert. Prices are $6 for adults and children 12 and over, and $3 for children under 12. (Children's menu: Chicken Nuggets, Chips, Dessert & Drink.) Drinks are free. No sign-up is necessary. Join us for dinner! Dinner will be served from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m.
