Operation Christmas Child

In October, we are collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. You can bring items to donate and place them in the box near the office entrance. You can pick shoeboxes up in the Atrium after today’s service. See the bulletin insert for a detailed list of suggested items to include in your box.


Socks For Memphis Union Mission - October

We are collecting new socks during the month of October to donate to the Memphis Union Mission for the men who are involved in their ministry to have this winter. You will find black garbage cans at all of our entrances for you to drop off new socks for these men.


Respite Care Volunteers Needed

Our Respite Care Ministry, Grace Haven, needs some help. If you are interested in being involved with Grace Haven and would like more information, there will be a volunteer training meeting today from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. See Ed or Jennifer San Nicolas for more information.


DeSoto/Tate Associational Meeting – Tonight

The DeSoto/Tate Baptist Associational meeting will take place, tonight at  5:30 p.m. at Hernando Baptist Church. Anyone from LaBelle Haven who attends has been elected to serve as a messenger.


Primetimers – October 23

Our next Primetimers meeting is this Thursday, October 23, at 11:30 a.m. Our members and guests over the age of 55 are invited to join us. The church will provide the meat, and we are asking members to provide the sides and desserts. Our guest speaker for the day will be Dr. Tommy Vinson.


Olive Branch Trunk or Treat – October 30

This year, the LaBelle Kids Ministry will participate in the Olive Branch Trunk or Treat on October 30. The big blue buckets are out for you to donate candy for this event. We also need people to work our tent/booth on the night of the event. For more information, see Ms. Renea Beene.


Pink Out – October 26

The staff is encouraging all of our church family to wear some pink next Sunday, October 26, to show support for those who have gone through, or are currently going through a cancer journey of any kind.


Men and Boy’s Breakfast – November 1

Tickets are available today at the Ticket Center for $5 for our next Men and Boy’s Breakfast on November 1. The LaBelle Men will cook bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy and hot coffee. The breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m.

       The menu will consist of:  Baked Potato Bar & Salad Bar, & Caramel Bread Pudding for dessert.  Prices are $6 for adults and children 12 and over, and $3 for children under 12. (Children's menu: Chicken Nuggets, Chips, Dessert & Drink.) Drinks are free. No sign-up is necessary. Join us for dinner! Dinner will be served from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m.
