A special part of our deacon/widow ministry is our annual deacon/widow banquet. This banquet is an opportunity for us to love on our widows and widowers and it also gives our deacons a chance to spend some valuable time with their widows/widowers. Our banquet this year will be on Saturday, August 26, at noon.The banquet will feature a fabulous meal. This event is a dress up event so everyone is asked to wear your Sunday best for the banquet.If needed, each widow will be chauffeured to the banquet and their deacon will give them a corsage at the door to wear.
