The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead three days later. It is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead that gives us the blessed hope of eternity that Christians have. Paul speaks of Jesus being seen after His resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15:6, “After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.”We can be certain of the resurrection, 500 people witnessed it at one time. On Sunday, April 21, we will celebrate our Lord’s resurrection with our Easter Service. This will be a tremendous service full of exciting music, heartfelt worship of our risen Lord, and preaching from the Holy Word of God. We will provide tickets on Sunday, April 14, for you to use to invite people to our Easter Service. In the past we have had over 1,000 people worship with us on Easter. We anticipate our attendance will be close to this number this year. In order to accommodate this number I am asking you to do a couple of things: 1) Consider bringing your family to church in one vehicle. 2) Fill a parking spot as close to the back as possible. 3) Park on the curb of the north entrance (security will direct you). 4) Use Sweetpeas for overflow parking, if necessary (we will run shuttles). 5) Use the overflow seating area prepared if we reach capacity.
