LaBelle Haven Welcomes Bro. Dennis Landrum
This morning in Bro. Dean's absence we want to welcome Bro. Dennis Landrum to LaBelle Haven. Bro. Dennis is the Associational Missions Strategist for the X-Tended Missions Network, of which we are a participating church. The Lord is blessing the association under Bro. Dennis's leadership. Please welcome and pray for Bro. Dennis as he preaches God's Word to us today

Trunk or Treat

This Wednesday night October 27 we will not have our regular Wednesday night activities, but we will have our annual Trunk-or-Treat. There will be inflatables, plenty of candy, hot dogs and nachos. We do still need more people to volunteer to open your trunk and hand out candy to the kids who show up for this event. If you are willing to do this, you can sign up today at the Ticket Center. Trunk decorating is encouraged but not required. Volunteers will need to have their cars in place by 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday night, October 28, we will have our LaBelle Haven tent set up at the city sponsored Trunk-or-Treat in Old Towne Olive Branch. We will be giving out candy, prizes and information about our church. We are thankful for this opportunity to be involved in our community and share information about LaBelle.

The Big Blue Buckets Are Out

The big blue buckets are out to collect candy for our Trunk-or-Treat events. If you forgot to bring your candy today, you can still drop candy off in the church office before Wednesday. Thank you for your generosity.

Primetimers' Luncheon This Thursday

Our next Primetimer meeting is this Thursday, October 28, at 11:30 a.m. All of our members and guests over the age of 55 are invited to join us. The church will provide the meat and we are asking our members to provide the sides and desserts.

Girls Only!

On October 29, starting at 8:00 p.m., our youth/college girls in grades 6th-college will have a Lock-In in the MPR.  Girls will need to bring a pillow, sleeping bag & snacks. We will provide supper and breakfast. The cost is $5 per person and the sign-up list is at the Ticket Center.

Lord's Supper/Benevolence Offering - Next Sunday

Next Sunday, October 31, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the end of the worship service. This is a special time when we celebrate our Lord’s sacrificial death. Following the Lord’s Supper, we will receive an offering for our benevolence ministry.

Deacon Family Ministry

Our deacons have recently begun the deacon family ministry plan. Over the next couple of weeks your family should receive a letter from a deacon or a yokefellow. This letter will identify the deacon or yokefellow that will help minister to you at LaBelle Haven.

We must have a certain number of deacons in order to do this ministry well. It is imperative that we all participate in the deacon nominations. Nomination forms are in each bulletin this morning
